Getting Started
Prop With Friends is a platform for creating and participating in prop betting pools with your friends.
Make predictions on game props, compete on leaderboards, and enjoy friendly competition - all without
any real money involved. It's perfect for Super Bowl parties, March Madness, and any sporting event!
Click the "Sign Up" button in the top right corner. Enter your email, create a username,
and set a password. That's it! You'll be ready to create or join pools immediately.
No! Prop With Friends is for entertainment purposes only. No real money is wagered
or won. We provide a fun way to make predictions and compete with friends for bragging rights.
Pools
- Log in to your account
- Click "Create Pool" from the navigation menu
- Give your pool a name
- Choose your settings (public or private)
- Share the join code with your friends!
Get the join code from the pool creator, then:
- Click "Join Pool" from the navigation menu
- Enter the join code
- You're in! Start making your picks.
Yes! You can join as many pools as you like. Each pool has its own leaderboard and chat,
so you can compete with different groups of friends.
Making Picks
You can submit or edit your picks any time before the event starts. Events typically start
at game time. You'll see a countdown timer showing how much time you have left.
Yes, you can change your picks as many times as you want before the event starts.
Once the event begins, picks are final.
We support several question types:
- Yes/No: Simple yes or no predictions
- Over/Under: Will a stat be over or under a number?
- Multiple Choice: Pick from several options
- Numeric: Enter a specific number prediction
- Ordering: Rank items in order
Scoring
Each question has a point value (typically 1 point). When a question is resolved,
you earn points if your answer matches the correct answer. Your total score is
displayed on the leaderboard.
Questions are resolved by the pool creator or admins after the event occurs.
You'll see updates in real-time on the pool page and leaderboard.
